Seemed to always have been offered phone appointment via general waiting list but after face to face appointment then realised more open than I thought they were.
Receptionists keep giving wrong information and making judgments about whether patients need to see a doctor. It is almost impossible to book appointments. In my most recent experience I was given no options to remove my stitches within the time frame given by the doctor at the hospital, even though I called way in advance to make the appointment. Receptionist suggested I would go to another place at 8.45pm, which is not suitable for people with child care responsibilities.
Once you pass the receptionists the service is better.
Feel that it depends which receptionist answers the phone, some of the newer ones have an indifferent attitude and seem to be more interested in making judgments whether you need to speak to a doctor or not. I’m not sure what their remit is but I don’t feel that sufficient care is taken
Excellent surgery, excellent staff, always satisfied.
New receptionist is no good at her job with patients, she has no empathy and does not care what you say. No matter how important.
Dr did things without me knowing or telling me.
